Raised on Gun-Barrel and Vase Turned Stem and Four Cabriole Legs Patinated and Well Burnished Oak English, c.1770
24" high x 15.75" wide x 11.5" deep
Ref: 11389
Of delightful small proportions, this is an unusual example with a rectangular “tray top”, raised on a gun-barrel and vase turned stem, terminating in four short shaped legs with slipper feet. The single plank top has a good deep honey colour, and the stem has a rich nutty colour where is has not been faded by daylight and cleaning over the years. Overall it has a richly patinated surface and has provenance to the collection of a well respected retired dealer in the Midlands.
