Interesting rectangular Swedish domestic bowl with great character and surface, retaining much of the original painted surface to the exterior. The Swedes made many domestic utensils from their plentiful indigenous timbers and were skilled craftsmen. This honest working culinary bowl is in excellent original condition and has a lovely colourful and characterful sculptural presence. Pieces of this type lend great atmosphere as accent pieces in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
