Hand carved from blocks of solid timber and retaining many original fixings, this well drawn example also retains its original painted surface and has developed a delightful surface patina. The sails and rigging have been sensitively restored in keeping with the age of the model. Boat models such as this are frequently complimentary to Coastal and Lakeside interiors and can also be fitted with bespoke brackets for wall mounting, where they cut a strong silhouette and make unique conversation pieces and which lend great charm and atmosphere.
